Movies used to be a gathering.
Culture used to be a gathering. Before the multiplex, before the couch, before the phone — a film, a play, a concert was a place you went and a crowd you joined. The Common Assembly exists to bring that back: free cultural events across LA County that make a difference in the neighborhoods they land in. Our cinema-with-live-score nights are the clearest example — no tickets, no reruns, just a screen, a stage, and everyone.
